Yoga first began as a way to help deal with overwhelming anxiety and a heavy sense of depression and self-loathing. By practicing yoga, meditation, pranayama and mindfulness I was able to feel again. To work through my pain and confusion. To trust myself. To take the necessary steps forward to begin to care for myself. Physically, mentally and emotionally.
These practices helped me get off of medication. Yoga became my therapy. And was also the “gateway” into the healthy lifestyle I so craved, yet was scared to allow myself to experience. Yoga has opened up a whole new way of being for me. To start loving my body by eating healthier and mostly plant-based. It has allowed me to look fear in the face and try things I never thought possible. Like trying my first (mini) sprint triathlon, or hang-gliding in Switzerland, or planning my first yoga retreat!
Yoga has allowed me to have more compassion for others. To be more patient. To listen, not only to that intuitive guidance system within, but also to others. It has allowed me to change my perspective to “what’s in it for me?” to “how can I serve?”.
These mindfulness practices have allowed me to embrace the moment, no matter how messy and frustrating. To remember to breathe and to see the beauty. To interrupt anxiety with gratitude. To live in the NOW.
And I couldn’t be more grateful. I am bursting at the seems with gratitude for the opportunity to live this life fully alive.

Creativity has always been present for me. From skipping class in high school to spend more time in the dark room developing film (nerd-alert I know), to sequencing yoga classes and creating community workshops.
Now I have applied my creativity to a whole new level. To my business. I am embodying the lifestyle I’ve always imagined, that has me pinching myself and asking,
“Is this my real life?!”
I took the leap and moved to a beautiful town 10 minutes from the beach, I am busy collaborating with other amazing entrepreneurs and local businesses, and am teaching yoga retreats all around the world.
Recently, I’ve added Lifestyle Design Coaching to my offerings, to help other creative souls break through overwhelm and to clarify what lights them up, so that they may step fully into their potential with confidence and ease.
